Light Festival in Jerusalem

The Jerusalem Festival of Lights is completely different from the Festival of Lights, which is Hanukkah, which takes place in December.

The Festival of Lights takes place in June or July for one or two weeks and takes over the entire Old City of Jerusalem.

This festival is a unique and unforgettable experience, and we find expressions of art, light, history, and spirituality in the form of sculptures, music, dance, light projections, and various other performances.

Since the city is completely illuminated by the festival displays, the normal lights are turned off. To avoid getting lost, right at the entrance to the city, there is a map in English, Hebrew, and Arabic indicating all the performances and explaining their meaning.

The festival is completely free.
